- - They pushed for money and never followed up.
- - Artwork approved; no contact for over a year; the inventor lost $5,000 and the idea is now for sale.
Avoid this company at all costs. They push and push and push for money, and when you finally give in, they never get back in touch with you.
After my invention artwork got approved, I never heard a word back, and now a year and a half later, my invention is for sale at all retail levels because the companies they advertised my invention to stole the idea. I'm sure Invention Home had their share of gain financially out of it too.
It's sad because I'm not only out $5,000; I'm out of my invention as well. This place is an absolute rip-off.

I tried another invention, and they told me to take the 12-month deal so they could repeat the same thing.
It's not a good, fair company to work with. The people are taking your money from your invention because they don't get paid enough.

Do not give this company a dime! When you do, they will not get in contact with you for months.
It's tough to get a hold of them; they never call you back or email you back. The only time they will get in touch with you is to tell you your invention needs more money for them to do anything.
They are lazy and just don't care about you after they've received money from you. This is the worst company to work with!

It's unfortunate you chose to write a negative complaint online about our company that does not have merit. We did quite a bit of work for you, all of which you received.
The services received include a professional patent search, a filed provisional patent application with the USPTO, sketches, and an Invention Portfolio that both you and InventionHome used for marketing purposes. To suggest we took your money and did nothing is completely false and baseless. In terms of marketing your product, we reached out to over 100 companies and communicated those activities to you on your MAP Report. Based on your report, we reached out to many of the major companies in your products industry/category and disclosed many of those company names to you on your report.
As your marketing activities show, this is certainly not a company being "lazy" or not caring. Unfortunately, whether or not a company chooses to move forward is not within our control and should never be interpreted as if InventionHome did nothing. The merits of the invention and invention alone is the deciding factor on whether or not a company chooses to pursue further. We apologize that your product did not result in a licensing agreement but does not negate the services we provided to you and work performed.

Years later...thousands of $ later never heard from them within the first year.
- - Chances are slim they will pitch your idea.
- - They take your money for any idea and post it as pitched for a contract.
Just know chances are slim to none they will pitch what you got. So be careful with your money.
They'll take any idea as long as you pay even if they deem it worthless.
But they won't tell you that. They will be more than willing to take your money, give you hope, post it on their website and claim they are pitching it out there to potential possibilities of getting you that contract.

Refusal to accurately describe product and unprofessional
- - They were contacted repeatedly to make a phone call.
- - They spent over 7,800 on 3D artwork.
- - The product write-up is unclear about what's offered.
Multiple times contacted thru out process where I have told them to Make A Phone Call ! Ive spent over 7800k for 3d artwork as the right up and info about the product is written garbage where Im not even sure what my product is supposed to be offering!
Ive contacted them multiple times and I get an email that states for Me to do any corrections!
What am I paying for if its Me that has to do. The Work ??

InventionHome has tried to work with the customer directly but to no avail. We have offered a phone call with our Director of Customer Operations, but the customer refused and suggested in writing she will write negative reviews about our business instead.
The customer approved the services we provided in July 2023, but has since decided she does not like the services and wants a refund. Our agreement and policy clearly states, which the customer agreed to, no refunds will be given after approval of work.

Did my invention with them after I built a prototype and they submitted it to 15 companies right away and a month later they worked out a deal. I got a 7% royalty but Im not sure if that is good. I think it is.
